Ok, today i'm trying to get the tail lights out to have them sent to get the 99 spec done to them. I took the screws out on each tail light i think there was 3 and the things won't move. What to do??

sounds like youre in the same boat i was in a while back. The lights are held in place by the 3 screws.Thats correct. What you dont know is that you have to push the taillights to the side of the car for them to slide off the 3 retaining hooks on the backside of the light.Best way to do this is to push with the palm of your hand towards the light and push away from the center tailight.Let me know how it goes.Ohh and my buddy mpfcc on here does the 99 tailight conversion if youre interested.

^ what he said, use your palm to slide it out. dont put too much pressure on it or you might crack the lens. you can also loosen it up a bit, if it is too tight, by kinda hitting it in the direction it is supposed to slide out from the top. do that gently as well though with your palm

So the bulbs are the originals? I'm joking but they can be a bitch and the shop manual doesn't give any real info. I don't know about the owner's manual though.

I've already paid someone to do it only $45 which isn't bad i don't think. Its winter and my car is put away now so its no big deal with the tail lights sent somewhere.

Hell mine are already converted and would be willing to trade you straight across. I would like to have stockers. Hell I would even pay for shipping both ways.

How well was the conversion done? Are the lights still in excellent condition?
