is there any wiring that needs to be done to the t56 trans in order to run it on the fd.? i see alot of sensors on the fd trans that seem to be needed. lol. any intel would be appreciated,

 

Other than the reverse lights (and mount) nothing from the tranny connects to the chassis. It is all controlled by the GM ECU anyway.

 

So your telling me I really dont need to wire anything but the reversr light?.

Select your model Rx-7, then click on installation instructions. It is rather easy, they even sell a speedometer gear adapter so you can use your stock gauges. If you can't find it there call them and they can help you out.

 

no, you still have to wire the motor up. I was saying that the only thing fromt he tranny wiring to the chassis is the rev lights. although I got my Rev signal from the ECU so I might be wrong that it can be intercepted prior to ECU

im running the t56 with the 13b engine not the v8.

 

Only 2 thing need to be wired up

Speed sensor
reverse light
