ok so i was wondering what all needs to be done to swap a t2 engine into a fd.

i know it sounds dumb but i recently bought a large turbo with a t2 engine from puerto rico bolted to it. and was planning on throwing it into my toyota starlet. i have lost intrest in the yota and thought about throwing the motor in my fd. what all would it take to have the engine sitting in the car? any help would be appreciated.

 

You'll have to modify the subframe for the T2 mounts. A member has done it

ok thanks man. i appreciate it. im still not 100% sure on the swap yet. if this new job works out i will probably just finish the toyota project. i was just curious if anyone and attempted it. but probably still leaning towards the toyota. to be honest with you.

 

Sell the TII engine and pick up an REW. Stronger, larger stock ports, no fabrication... It's a no brainer.

And of course, just put the TII in the Toyota
