synthetic oil question

I know this topic has been beaten to death,so ,let me rephrase it .I know there are a lots of rotary builders that have different ideas on syn oil.I would like to know what pettit,PFS,KD,racing beat,rx7.com and pineapple, have to say on this subject.Anyone who has spoken directly to any of these builders about this please quote their responses. I want to use syn or at least a syn/blend in my 93.

RX7.com aka Rotary Performance uses synthetic in all of their race cars and personal cars, if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me

No offense but how about just picking up the phone and getting the info right from the horse's mouth? Why ask the forum for 2nd and 3rd hand info?

FWIW, Rick Soderberg of Rick's Rotary recommends 10w30 synthetic as it is better for the turbos. If synthetic caused other problems, I'm sure he would have noticed in the last 15+ years he's been rebuilding motors....

Its a whole lot easier to ask simple questions on this forum than to look up the phone numbers + long distance charges for a simple answer.

Anyone had a bad experience with syn out there? I have had nothing but outstanding performance with syns on every internal combustion engine I have ever owned. They are not good for break-in, because they are so good at lubrication, break-in takes forever. Run dino for 5000 mi. break-in and syn for the rest. Oh ya, Mobil 1, the best IMO

I think you can go to their respective sites and just email them with a question. If you get any specific responses, that might make for an interesting post.
