symptoms of a crap O2...

what are the symptoms of a bad O2 sensor? im worried ive fried mine by now bc ive been running too much premix. i was running around 125:1 which is about what you run if you've removed the OMP completely my OMP is still there but the lines and injectors have been removed so i realized i only need to use 4 oz. to a tank but to the point how can i check my O2?...

Typically with a failing O2 sensor, you'll have a little hesitation in the lower RPMs and a CEL.

Yep. It won't stay on, but flash every now and then.

This is why I love this forum, I've been having CEL flashes every once in awhile and couldn't figure out what the hell the problem was. Starting thinking about he O2 sensor and now I come across this thread.

New one is like $20 at the parts store, picked one up last weekend. Just get the generic and bust out the soldering iron.

The wire to mine broke and was not working for a while. The car still ran ok though. Yes, you'll get a check engine light from time to time. To confirm if the light is for your 02 sensor open up the diagnotic port under your hood and jump the TEN and Ground connections with a paperclip. Turn the ignition key into the on position. If it is the 02 sensor if should flash once, then pause, then flash five times, then pause and repeat.
