swapped to 5sp from auto wiring harness TROUBLE

[FONT=Arial Black]xxx[/FONTXXXxxx AHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm going nuts! I've got a 93 twin turbo I 've swapped the auto out for a 5 spd and purchased the new main harness but can only get 1 rotor to fire up??? I've had this car at Mazcare for MONTHS!!! and they still don't have it running. They keep saying it's the harness that's screwed up! IT"S BRAND NEW!!!! HELP any suggestions?????

As Far as I know, Mazcare din't say I needed a new one paid them over 2K to hook me up and the still don't have it done!

damn... i hope that included parts. i did a manual swap for $50 last year and that included EVERYTHING... even the rear end and a lightly used clutch assembly :

You will need the dash harness as well. To do this right you will need ALL manual harness. Trust me I just done mine a few months ago everything went smooth. I seem harness alot on ebay.

Thanks to all for your input I wonder if the ecu is different???? This car is becoming the proverbial money pit!!!! Oh well hopefully someday I'll be able to feel this thing throw me back in the seat!

Find a member in your area with a Manual and do a quick ECU swap and see what happens.

AT to MT swap

I just completed a 93 AT to MT swap myself. I used the AT wiring harness. Only mods were to jumper 3 wires on the large AT connector (details if you need them) and wire in the reverse switch so the backup lights worked. NO OTHER MODS required. I am using a Power FC which may account for the ease of conversion. Lee
