Suspension Question

When I release the gas while leaving my manual transmission engaged, the car jerks a bit (makes your head nod front to back) as it slows down and makes a clunking noise. I read about the clunking noise caused by the rear trailing arms, but it was stated as caused by changing directions (?) and turning. Just want to make sure it's the same before buying anything. Also, anyone ever have any experience w/ the Ebay store delubozparts? here's the link for new arms: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting
Let me know whatcha think.

Never heard of this store. Amazing all the people that ebay brings out.

Unless I am mistaken wouldn't a trailing arm problem be on take off?

Seems to me like you are talking about some sort of a driveline problem but I cannot understand too much.

For the part I would go to a recognized Rx-7 parts vendor.

Are there any online sites that sell these pillowball bushings? The link Mahjik gave quotes "RX-7 tuner, the dealer, or Mazda Competition Parts" to buy these. I don't know if I can get these locally here in Italy, so I hope they are available on-line.

I would check with Malloy Mazda to see if they ship/deal internationally. Another place:

I'll try to call Malloy Mazda. It wouldn't be international though. As long as they ship via USPS priority, I can get it shipped here to the base.

On one side of my car, the lower arm has a good bit of side to side play.
Not sure why though, but the pillowball bushing in this pic is part # FD01-26-230, but on the website Mahjik gave is part # FD01-26-220.

That's not the actual part number. You take that reference number and then look it up on the right side of the parts diagram. It will correspond to the correct part number (which will contain the FD01 part).
