Yeah, like Jim said...it's close enough. And that is 500 RWHP. I've been eyeballing this setup for awhile now, but not too much information is out there on it.

The turbos are Apexi IHI AX53B70-P25 units similar to the RX6 (smaller though, the FD3S RX6 is a TCW76-P27). The CHRA is dual ball bearing design, and is water & oil cooled. Stainless manifold and downpipe, all fittings and coolant lines...no wastegates though...

Just an FYI, for anyone who doubts that the Border kit can make 500 rwhp...the Apexi drag Integra uses twin (smaller than the Border kit) Apexi IHI AX53B70-P21 turbos on an H22A, and produces over 650 bhp at 22.8 psi.

Talking enough dumbass canadian talk :D

Alright back to the supra turbos talk....Well thing is i know that FD's and Rx7's in general do not need alot of Boost too make power....but wouldnt it be nice to have a set of twins that are proven to hold 20 psi reliably and basicly have a damn near flawless sequential system not to mention there is no aftermarket twin setup out there for FD's that is proven....Dont get me wrong guys im not saying go out there and get a set of supra twins and do it (altho if u have enough time and money why not) but its definatly worth atleast talking about with an open minded local Mech.

They are integrated on the turbos. Look at the bottom of the turbos and you will see them.

BORDER RACING TWINS MAN!! They can be setup to run sequential..although it would probably be more hassle than it's worth...

How? Look at them, they both get their exhaust from only one rotor. Even If you were to vent all exuaust from one of the turbos, you can't redirect it to the other turbo.

It would take some VERY constructive piping to pull THAT off.

Okay, but can it be done? I never said HOW, I said it could be done. I also said it would be more hassle than it's worth. Sheesh.

Another Question

Why doesnt anyone just go with a custom twin turbo setup..Say 2 Garret T35's or something to that nature... Its looking like thats the way to go if i get an FD....

Seems like everyone now-a-days just wants to have a dyno queen with only 1500 rpms of full boost...

Go figure!

EDIT: *Flame Suit On*

Not to mention Kevin Wyum's "big twin" (twin T03/T4 hybrids) project in '98...

And I still haven't heard the results of that one, even though he did finish it...
