supra or fd better for daily driver?

It all depends on how you build the FD to be honest. Of course Supras are lower maintainance vehicles, but not nearly the car that an FD is. And I'm not trying to start a flame war here either. I'm getting at the fact of handling and overall enjoyment of driving the car rather than all out horsepower or straightline speed. Honestly who will ever witness the full potential of either of those cars on the street and still be safe enough as to not endanger your life or those of the other people on the street?? I'd say if you are mechanically inclined and don't mind spending the time working on your baby then go with the FD. Mine is a daily driver and I've had no problems with it. But she's almost stock still too. Just my .02

Supra is better, so you can park it anywhere and if it gets stolen, so what haha
btw: FD's seem to be much cheaper then a Supra, I think you could buy 2 fd's (using one as a daily driver/beater) and one as a show/race car.

i love my fd but it sux as a daily driver. plus i have put alot of money into it and it seems like somthing else breaks just when i get it to 100%. i am getting a pfc afromt mount intercooler and a mid pipe soon i will see how much i like it then. i want a supra real bad though but i'm not willing to let go of my fd to get one. i guess i just need to get a first fb or somthing for a daily driver.

I've owned both (currently have an fd) and if you only have 1 car I would go with the Supra.
- more resilent paint (except the red on the supra)
- less maintenance
- more cargo space (small but still 50%+ more)
- I've fit 3 people in my supra before (no hope in fd)
- better gas mileage (minimal but still if it is a daily driver)
- better crash protection
- more likely to have no major problems at 100,000 miles.
My solution was to get a gs400 and a fd. (great reliable daily driver and fun to drive, great handling weekend car.
