Tranny problem.

I had, what I thought was a bad pilot bearing. You know you get the humming when in neutral with the clutch out. So I pulled the tranny out, and did the 5th gear syncro, and installed ACT clutch with a new pilot bearing. Now sound even worse. I am thinking the input shaft bearing is going. Anyone else have this problem, and if so what was it, and how did you fix it. Thanks guys.

PULL the trans apart and check all bearings, it could be the rollers between the input shaft and the mainshaft ..you can know for sure .
