Super quiet cat-less exhaust... (Atleast going to see)
#26
Since this thread is about a quiet exhaust, I'll chime in again...A resonated midpipe is much quieter than a cat in my experience.
I went from a high flow cat, to a magnaflow res midpipe. I was much happier with the noise, note, and throttle response.

My old setup was comparable to stock...dp, mp, and old school HKS super dragger. Verified by another FD running the same catback(parked next to him at a meet and had to ask if his car was running!!!!). Drawback from that catback was the amount of back pressure...3 years ago when it finally blew out(bottomed out + rust) I instantly pulled more vacuum. Plugged the hole with exhaust wrap/fiber/epoxy lost vacuum...hole opened up a day later and picked up vacuum again.
Of course, at this point my quiet car became slightly less loud than it is now! SS mani, dp, mp, and a HKS Carbon Ti this time...cant order food through a drive thru, headache tone at highway speeds, barely hear the radio(50W amp front and 360W single sub at full blast!).
