The Super Overhaul is half done
Actually, it's 90% done. The web pages are only half done though. These pages cover replacement/testing of the following:
Silicon hose job
Mazda fuel line recall kit
Fuel pulsation damper
Fuel injector overhaul
Check valve testing/replacement
Solenoid testing/replacement
Rewrapping of the main engine harness
Fuel pressure gauge installation
Fuel pressure regulator testing
Spark plugs
Spark plug wires
New oil + filter
New coolant
New airbox filter/airbox mod
Installation of an aluminum AST (air separator tank)
Brake booster line/check valve
Hallman boost controller
There are 4 pages. The first 2 are done. They are MANY images. If you've got a 56k modem, it will take awhile.

Feedback welcome. If you see any errors or typos, please let me know.

it is indeed very good stuff.Wish I had acess to this information when I was doing my overhaul.Although mine was more of a gradual process.I think once the whole thing is done being posted on the web it should be archived.Very good info for the beginner and do it yourselfer.Which most of us are.Since mazda doesnt know what they are doing and they charge outrageous prices for labor.
Mahjik archive this info if possible.Thanx.

No offense this is great stuff your going, but now that you have the perfect motor dont you want to have the perfect suspension? You may want to consider bushings, shocks, motor mounts, and checking your PPF for cracks. Probably other minor things as well.

I didn't really unwrap the harness. The romex covering used by Mazda basically cracked and crumpled to pieces as I unhooked the connectors. With the romex gone, the wires were left there uncovered. I had to rewrap them or they'd get baked to a crisp in no time.

See previous posts by me on how Mazda used 85C Romex to wrap the main harness.
It becomes so brittle it actually hardens and cracks. Very ineffective and should be removed and rewrapped with 500F silicone wrapping.

I guess I got too impatient to finish the last page (part 4), but the car has been running great for about 4 months now. I'll finish the last page someday.
