Sunroof keeps popping fuses?

My sunroof just wouldn't close a couple of weeks ago, and I had to manually crank it closed. I have put several fuses in since then, and they just keep popping. What could be causing this?

Fuses blow because the motor is pulling too much amperage. Check to see that it is properly lubricated and slides easily. If this is ok, then check the ground and power connections to the motor itself. Loose connections will cause the motor to pull more amps. Also make sure the motor is mounted solidly and not loose. Any twisting could put the motor in a bind, but the mechanics of the sunroof slide easily.

Good Luck,
Tim
