sunroof "issue" u tell me?

The sunroof in my car ever since I have had it has always had problems. Gotta help it to open, clicks alot, etc...i unplugged the motor today and ran a jumper box directly to the motor plug...it worked FLAWLESSLY, i didn't even have to help it at all, any of the times...Do I have a bad switch?

I had my switch/motor everything replaced and it still had problems opening, with the clicking noise.

I always had to push up on it to get the sunroof to open. Never really noticed if it only happened with the shade in or not.

Could be bad connections. Check where the wire is grounding. Could be some corrosion.

If you used a jump box and it worked flawlessly, obviously you got problems in the switch, and/or wiring.
