Sunroof gone bad!

This is what my sunroof frame looked like when I pulled my headliner off... The second pic is after I installed the new frame from TurboJeff.

Thanks a ton Jeff

I'm surprised by the amount of rust!! Did you have a bad seal or leaks into the car?

I'd replace the rubber molding around the roof and also make sure the 4 drain holes and hoses are clear of blockage. The hoses run down both front a-pillars and the rear 1/4 panels behind the interior trim.

I did that when I put the new roof on. I think the old seal was bad so I put a new one on and it seems a lot tighter.

thanks for the info

Should I even bother ripping out the actuator and trying to sell it? The motor ran fine before i ripped the frame out of my car.
