Sun Visor Removal

Hi all! I'm just trying to be patient and not destroy anything as I remove my headliner!

I know the small piece on the "hook" has a cover that pops off. On the "swivel" side I'm assuming the cover pictured pops off as well? I'm trying to avoid breaking anything!

Yes, the plastic cover pops off. It was difficult for me to get it to pop off.

Are you removing it for better visibility out of the car?

Pulling to get the headliner out. Haven't really thought about the visibility aspect. I may put them back in I may...whatever.

I'm asking in all sincerity but any reason you ask? Is removing them something you suggest? I mean yea I'm tall and I suppose they take away visibility slightly but can't imagine them being THAT much of a sight line killer...at least one "t3h str33t". =)

A small flat head will pop it of easily.

^ Being tall myself, (my head hits the headliner in the morning before my spine compresses during the day) I have noticed a huge difference in visibility out of the windshield when I removed the driver side visor. Since I am tall there is no need for the visor to block out the sun because if I put it down then I would only see the hood of the car.

I would definitely sit in the car with it removed to see for yourself. Worst thing that can happen is you do not like it and re install it. I find it made a difference with it removed and since I will never need it any increase in visibility was welcome.

Thank you. I genuinely appreciate the explanation and never considered it could be beneficial to do so.
