Any new info or prices? Can you use windshield wipers on it?

The speedglass depending on the density of their blend (though its poly based shouldn't be much) should be 11lbs less than the stock glass.

Hey guys, I'm going to be talking to Percy's about a 10 person group buy. Is anyone SERIOUSLY interested. I don't want do this work to not fill the order. Yes it's very cool that it's light and all but you would need to have the money now in hand to be taken seriously. LMK who's SERIOUS!

I am currently using it, it is over-sized and requires a lot of work to fit on your car. It also scratches easily. This is not a simple process to get it to work so make sure you have someone to cut and fit it for you if you can not do that yourself. I spent almost as much getting it to fit as I did on the lexan

I'm sorry, which "glass" are you using? The summit or Percy? I'd find it funny if it's the Percy glass, as "steel wool" can't scratch it.

The summit. Sorry for the vague initial post.

I'm 65% towards the FAL. The scratches are part of the game to me, I'll just have to be careful. I'm only interested in the Percy brand if there is some sort of savings involved...

i actually wanted to purchase a speedglass rear window, a while back, had some interest in a group buy, but it wasn't enough. I also wondered about the 1" oversize, wished they had one stock size to simplify things. Put me down for buying one, even if i have to use a credit card, i hope its a good discount

ohh ask for a 5 ppl discount first, seems like getting 10 will be hard...

Sounds more realistic to do the 5 person deal. Up we go!

its not recommended to you wipers on the lexan. however, at my shop, we offer a clear window tint film that is intended to go on the outside of the front windshield. its optically perfect, does not scratch, and protects the glass from debris. this owul dbe an easy solution to the cracking or scratching.

the weight savings is supposedly 26 lbs when combined with a carbon hatch, but it seems like it woul dbe more than that.

the percy's stuff is awesome. switching out all the glass in the car saves 100 lbs.

I'm pretty sure anyone that is doing this glass would be using a carbon hatch. With that anyone doing the combo would be **** about weight savings. No need to bring up the wiper I'm pretty sure
