Suddenly getting 13 psi + boost spikes....
Suddenly getting 13 psi + boost spikes....
It was a good day, watched the Steelers win, decided to wash and wax the car, but wanted to take it out and warm it up good first, so I drove around town for 10 mins. or so and then headed out to my "racetrack", and DAMN but the car is pulling hard! But.....I was spiking to 13 - 14 psi and hitting fuel cut really often. I have rarely had it happen, the outside temps today are in the 40s so it is not like it is super cold out.....
From a easy rolling start and then hammering the gas, the car would just scream away, easily breaking the tires loose, fun as ****...but then that damned spiking ****....it is like the ignition was momentarily switched off, when the fuel cut hit.
I just can't figure out why now?

The stars where aligned...and the cold weather.
My car was spiking at around 12 psi lately...so I installed the manual boost controller from Rob's site.
It worked like a charm. Got rid of the stock pill, and now I am able to dial my boost in..
I highly recommend it. It was like $2.50....plus the labor of course.
