stupid question
Hey guys, on the RPM gauge cluster on the FD, does the RPM scale on the cluster end at 500 RPM or 0? Like when you look at the scale from 1000 to 2000, the increments are at 100 rpm. But below 1000 rpm, are the increments still in 100 rpm. Basically, is the bottom most line on the cluster 500 rpm or 0 rpm. I'm trying to figure out if I have an idle issue.

i looked in mine ( 92 type R) and the bottom most number is 500, then theres a small gap ( looks like 500 rpm worth) then it has 0, so yes i would say 0 rpm really does mean 0 rpm, like none at all.

well, i know the 0 means 0, but I don't have any 500rpm written on my cluster. so then does that mean that the last larger line itself means 0? (the bottom most line on the left of the cluster)

ok, guess i slipped up and forgot the cluster setup. I took a look again and ralized the line at the bottom in fact was 0, but I had forgotten about the gap between the bottom most line and the rest of the increments. Sorry about that dude.
Arrow A in the pic attached is 500rpm I guess and Arrow B is 0
Sorry about that dude, and thanks for the help.
