Tell me why people just want to race anything that they can drive? Just now I had a MX6 try and race me. I looked over and just shook my head. I mean Mustangs, Trans Ams, Turbo Eclipses, yeah... but 4x4 Trucks?!?... Thunderbirds?!?... MX6s?!?... Saturns?!?!?! wft?

 

MX-6 isn't that bad...at least theres a chance that it could have Turbo.

 

You have no idea how many SUVs and trucks try to pick a race, tailgating my ***. Hope to shoot a flame at them when I get a chance

Hey, I had someone in a Dodge Durango and another in a Acura MDX try a give it a go. Well, it was one of those stoplights where you have to merge later down the road.

I had a kid in a BIG *** chevy pickup try to give it a go. As you'd expect it was like he left the e-brake on. He started talkin about how he's getting heads next week at the next light. Hey whatever dude, do they take 2500 lbs off your truck.

Those of you who are from Socal... you ever get riced out civics and integs... revving on ya like ALL THE TIME??? I mean... they'll be going the opposite direction, or making a right turn. They'll stare and maddog you, then bone out. It's like they're too chicken shiet to line up with you, but they still have to get their "rev" in. It's quite hilarious actually. I guess there's a bunch of haters out there.

Hey, back in 94 I had a 87 Conquest. I saw the first 3rd gen in town. I knew for a fact that I didnt have a chance but I just wanted to see how fast that car was. And he showed me how fast it was. Ever since then I wanted one and I finally got one. I never turn down a race, most of the time they just want to see your car go. Everyone loves to see an FD tear off, even if they do get beat. If I pulled up next to a lambo and asked him to go. I know I dont have a chance, but I just want to see that thing take off like a cat that just got kicked in the butt. But I would get pissed if he didnt, fast *** car, pansy *** driver. Just my thought though. So Im weird...sue me.

 

Exactly. They wanna see what you can do. People usually honk at me when they notice my car from the other side of the road (ricers).

 

i'm more than happy to put people in their place left and right. my most embarassing loss was to a (groan) hyundai - only running at like 2-3 lbs at the time. since i got everything fixed, though...hehehe my only loss since was to a 2001 corvette, and that was only after i shifted into second. my roommate is convinced that SOMEday, his 2001 eclipse will somehow beat me, even though he knows it'll never happen. i race just for the sheer thrill of it. my heartbeat goes sky-high as i'm waiting for the light to change - sounds pathetic, but it's one of the best feelings in the world!!

not bad for a bone-stock, 8 year old car, eh? but yeah, it gets annoying, because i want to see what my car can do against a REAL challenge, instead of wannabees. all the silverbacks driving vipers, porsches, etc are too old to want to race, which sucks.

Hey they not all too old. I was merging on the freeway and some guy in a viper got all excited and took off. Must be the N1 dual. Also raced a 348 ferrari and mixed it up with an 355F1. The 355 left me like I still had the e-brake on, but like Mindframe said, it was sweet to hear that thing take off

 

THis fucken gmc sonoma pulled up next to me a few weeks ago. lol :p

You sick ****! Never race any car when you are boosting 3 lbs, now you just went and made 7s look foolish because of your antics. My boost is all messed up right now, but at least I hit 10 on the primary, but even still I will not race anyone. Even if I can win, it doesn't matter, they need to see just how badly a 7 will stomp them and I don't want to give them a false impression with my 5 psi secondary boost.
