I have just had a problem with a flooded engine. I took the spark plugs out and did the ticking over thing to clear out the fuel but now i have a problem, when the car is under full throttle it stumbles and wont accelerate until i ease of the accelerator quite alot. The rpm will rise whilst driving without any problems, its only under full throttle the problem occurs. While the car is stationary the rpm will rise to red line even under full throttle. Any ideas? thanks.

 

Replace the plugs. Why did the car flood in the first place? What mods do you have?

 

I had the same problem with a bad plug wire...

Replacing it fixed the problem.

 

Are you sure you put the plugs wires back on the right plugs?

theres a hks induction kit and muffler, thats it. Tried replacing the plugs, gona get new leads as wel. il let u know what happens.
