strut bar not fitting .. need help!!!

ok i just got my strut bar off ebay .. but the thing wont fit .. ive tried every combination of how to line up the holes but it just wont fit which leads me to believe they probably sent me the wrong strut bar for the wrong generation or something retarded .. anyways if any one has pictures of under their hood with this exact bar it would be most helpful

Have you tried jacking the car up so the load is off the wheels?

Yep, jack up the front of the car so that there is no load on the front wheels. See if you can get it installed that way.

I guess that's why they sell it so cheap, either that or maybe they just gave you the wrong one

yes .. hmm ive tried putting it in that exact way .. it doesnt fit .. if i were to put it in that direction .. the part where the bar meets black handles would cause the bar to point in an awkward angle .. i guess only way i can explain it is .. the part where the green arrow is pointing to .. if i were to line up the holes into the same configuration .. the bar would be pointing at the angle of the blue arrow

Without seeing a picture of your car and the strut bar, it's hard to help but you might have:

a. the wrong bar
b. frame damage to the car

If you can borrow a camera, it would help.

Yup that's the wrong bar, it looks like it would almost work, if you unscrewed the ends and flipped them around (L & R) but that would put the bar over the intake and that won't work.. Sorry man !

Send it back, or drill new holes. I would send it back.
