Pretty sure I put those back on the rail but I'll double check!

If they're missing, hopefully this solves my problem.

Another issue that I see quite often is people putting a vacuum cap (or nothing) on the large atomizer nipple, that should run to the turbo y-pipe. The fuel erodes the vacuum cap and blows gas out onto the engine under boost. Large black hose in front of the primaries.

What does that atomizer nipple do? I've always wondered how it works. It's not a boost source correct?

Pressurized air from the y-pipe is feed to that nipple, which distributes air to both primary injectors, this helps to atomize the fuel.

Can someone draw an arrow or circle this nipple? Can't tell which one you're talking about...

Edit...nevermind. I see which one you're talking about. Yeah I def have that connected to the Y pipe.

It's the largest nipple on the LIM. In the pic posted, it's to the left of the left-most primary fuel injector, just below the left mounting bolt for the secondary fuel rail.

Another advantage of the GZ LIM for single turbo setups is it doesn't come with all of the unnecessary nipples on it--much cleaner.

No, it is the one covered up by the large black vacuum line next to the fuel hose connecting the primary rail to the secondary rail

DING DING DING DING

WE HAVE A WINNER!

I pulled the primary fuel rail a few days ago: low and behold, one of these grommets had rolled up and split. I guess it happened when I re-installed the fuel rail last time when I installed all the custom fuel lines.

I haven't been able to do any sustained boost pulls but so far driving around the neighborhood and some short, low-boost acceleration yielded NO FUEL SMELL.

Thanks!
