strange sound when spining wheels

my car started to make strange sounds when it spins tyres. it feels like something is jumping and hitting the flour. usualy i would think, tranny mount but i lifted the car and there is no tranny mount just a powerplant frame, 2 engine mounts and 2 diff mounts in the back. diff mounts, as well as powerplant frame look ok. i cant think of anything else

i'd guess that is your description of wheel hop. basically the back end of the car is bouncing up and down due to worn rubber bushings in the rear suspension and diff. replace them and/or try a trans or diff brace.

i've got that in spades. seems like the car is kicking it's own butt, right?

Wheel hop WILL break diffs, PPF's, etc. Avoid this! Either replace/modify stuff so that it does not occur, or drive gently enough to avoid it.

well i always thought wheel hop was something like back of the car jumping, but not like something hitting the flour. i drive carefuly and gently usualy.

Check the motor mounts something is moving more than it should and i would put on a diff brace if you plan to drive it very hard!
