strange problem (only at night?)
I've been getting a hesitation under light throttle
(4th gear 35mph) it'll cause the car to jerk and buck like someone just learning to drive standard. If I step on the gas harder it'll smooth out. The strange part is that it only happens at night. But I don't think its temp related. Could a bad ground cause this? plugged cats? I don't have any idea, it just seems really strange. I'm also having some boost issues but I don't know if there related. Any ideas?

You have an electrical problem. Your engine doesn't have sufficient grounding capacity when you turn your head lights on. You need to install better grounds to your engine and frame.
Well that's gotta be at like 1.5-2krpm in 4th... You should be in 3rd gear at that speed. Perhaps even in second. The bucking might be due to grounding issues but I really think you should downshift. There is no reason to be going so slowly in 4th, 4th for me is reserved for 60-140

Well maybe in was 3rd? But either way I was around 2.3 rpms. So should I just take so good speaker wire or heavy amp and add a few ground straps to the block and frame? Or do I need something better.
Just replace your stock ground points with higher quality wire. You can use good stereo cables, but make sure they are really thick - like 2 guage for the main ground and a little smaller for the others. Make sure the contact points are very clean before you reattatch the grounds. Sand them down with 250 grit or similar and then clean them off with a solvent on a rag. I used to have crazy electrical problems due to bad grounding.
Where does the main ground that connects to the battery go. I can trace it but it goes into a wiring harness.
Is there any way to remove the small fuse block that connects to the battery? I have a dry cell I wanted to put in but the posts are more towards the center and the fuse block won't clear the sides.
