Yes on the TCA...the turbos cross over perfectly. Do I need the pills with the Profec? I was under the impression that after you went aftermarket you didn't need them.

Replaced the Turbo control solenoids, specifically the TCA, CRV and CCA. Installed a Greddy profec B spec II boost controller, replaced all the vacuum lines with silicon hoses, and still I run into the same issue.
Restate "the" issue please. Through the course of the discussion, many issues have surfaced. Also, to your other question, depending upon how you hooked up the profec will determine if you need any pills. you won't need the wastegate pill for sure, but if you are still using the stock prespool solenoid, you will need that pill. If you aren't using either the stock wastegate or prespool solenoids, then you won't need either pill. This is typically referred to as "version 1" and "version 2". See attached diagram.

I apologize, I forgot how many issues i've actually had. with the FD twins it's easy to lose count

The issue in question is a boost pattern of 0-5-10 with a delayed cross-over in 1st gear at about 5500 rpm. Pulls in 3rd gear cross over at ~4500 RPM (i beleive this is normal). After i hit the crossover, i can spool before 4500 as long as the rpms don't drop below 3000.

in addition to the items above, i'm running a power fc and exhaust (dp, mid and catback). I'm also running on BNR stage 3 seq twins, and an efini y-pipe.

I hooked up the Profec like version 2, but capping off the extra vacuum off the turbos and running only 1 line to the "In".

Please verify for us that the charge control valve is working properly. The easy answer is that it is staying open all the time and therefore, until you hit crossover at approx 4500 rpm (although tps and other factors influence this), all of your boost is bleeding out of the charge relief valve that stays open until crossover when it closes to stop venting secondary boost (and perhaps in your case stops venting primary and secondary boost). It is easy to check with KOKO test, you can watch it open and close from the top passenger side of the engine bay.

Have you taken the cross pipe off to make sure the charge control valve actuator door is close all the way when the valve closes?

Update: The turbo control system works, the PFC doesn't. I'm looking for a shop that will test the PFC and make sure that the turbo control mechanisms on the PFC are working correctly. For now, the thing works fine with the stock ECU and a Greddy Profec controller, just cant tune the sucker...but at least I can keep overboost in the primary turbo in check.

Anyone know if Apex'i USA takes RMA's on PFCs from Japan?

Have you had your vacuum hose replace, boost solenoid replace or a replace wiring harness? Because my coworker did an engine one time and he had one of the boost solenoid connector plug mixed up.
