When I open the drivers door of my rx7 with the ignition off I get this quick single beep. It's never done it before and just started today. Could it be an indication that there is an error code or maybe it's time to change the oil (I did the last 2 myself so maybe didn't reset something). This is an Australian delivered rx7 which I think don't have the error codes light on the dash for some reason. It had an error code once before and I never got a beep though. It's a 1994 model.

Sounds like the security system disarming beep to me.
