Stock twin turbo problem

Today my rear turbo compressor housing blew off the cartridge. I guess I didn't seat the snap ring in enough. Unfortunately I can't go back. The edge of the fins were damaged just a little. But I'd like someone with more knowledge to determine if these are salvagable or not. I figure I might be able to file or smooth the edge out carefully. I do realize how fast these spin.

your going to save more money by paying to replace them, than you are fixing them yourself....

They'll be hopelessly out of balance unless you send them in to be reworked. I'd scrap that cartridge.

I would just buy a used set. You can usually find a good set for under $300 without a problem.

I'm not a fan of used sets, at this point so many of them are bad.

John, maybe I can ask Bryan at BNR to rebuild them for you as a favor to me.....he doesnt really do it any more, but I can be pretty persuasive when I need to be

Good thing because I bought a 2 piece thermostat neck from him too. My car will run so great now. Thank you for the offer regardless though!!!

I have spare cartridges with good fins that you can swap (if you have the tools to do it)
