Stock spring whats front/rear?

I pretty sure my order is correct but not sure, a quick search i found nothing. two springs have a red painted dot, and the others are purple. How do you differenciate front and rear stock springs? thanks...

rear springs are usually thinner or are coiled closer together. But I'm also with tt rex with the link.

front what I remember the front and rear spring are totally different size... so you cant accidently put a front on a rear shock, or the other way around.

fronts are wider in diameter (lookingdown through the spring) and also like Jeremyb said, the front coils have more seperation than the rear. Rear are narrower in diameter and the coils are closer together on the stock springs.

^^^ AH I knew it! ... also with Damian, its pretty hard to get them reveresed having different front and rear shock spring seats. I don't think you'll get mixed up during the real operation.

According to my information, the OEM rear springs on my '95 were slightly larger in diameter and longer compared to the fronts, and marked with purple paint.
