Stock seats upholstery redone?

If so can you indicate how much you paid. Pics would be cool too. My driver side leather is starting to tear in a few spots. Been searching around trying to get some rough estimates so I dont get shafted.

Check the link to my build thread.
I had a bunch of stuff done so I don't remember exactly what I paid for the seats alone.

I had them done in alcantara suede, something like $800-$1000

I bought new leather covers off ebay and installed them myself.
$380
The leather is nicer and thicker than I thought it would be. The pic was taken right after I finished one of the seats, the leather tightened up nice once it got out in the sun.

Done by a local shop here in WA State

$1300. I know it's expensive, but they were worth it to me.

They did a great job! Mine look so plain in comparison and I like the texture of your leather better.

Leather

I bought the same eBay covers for around 225.00 but ended up selling as they are not even close to the oem, I had mine redone to a perfect match minus the side seatbelt strap.

Yours don't look bad at all. Everything comes down to the details. If you make sure that there is no other leather in your interior with more texture than your seats, it will make sure your seats dont seem plain at all. Although, I don't think yours look plain. Subtle red stitching looks good. especially in a red car.

I also spent the extra money on all new seat plastics and new seatbelt straps, and backrest handles. It's not pictured, but the backs of my seats are leather as well, will pouches on the back of both seats. The only part that is not leather is the tiny piece behind the level mechanism. I requested that to be a fuzzy material.

Thanks for the compliment! I am totally happy with them and love doing upholstery work myself. Only wish that I could have gotten the seat company to do the double row of stitches horizontally across the center sections. I sent them drawings and details requesting what I wanted, and they said sure we can do that. But they didn't come through obviously. But they will match everything else in the car black with red stitching. Steering wheel, shift ****, brake handle, both boots, trans tunnel cover.

I wanted to replace the seatbelt guides but they are too expensive for me so I made these up.

Honestly, retaining the stock ones was spendy I cant remember if it was $50 each or for both. And the was also extra from the upholstery shop.

As long as they do their job and are black, no one will care. Heck, the larger loop may not fold the seatbelt as badly as the stock one.

The double stitching wasn't even my idea. They did that on their own because they thought it would look better. I'm glad I gave them liscense to do what they thing is needed to make them look good.

I got mine a few years back from leatherseats.com on a group buy for $450 as I recall. They are now listed at $599 online. I think I paid $250 to have them installed professionally.

I had mine done twice by the same guys here in Toronto....approx. $1000. for the pair, I paid for the embroidery and set up separate, I've know these guys since we were kids and they do great work. The quick cell phone photo does not do it justice.

Mine were done by Bud's Upholstery in Pasco, WA.

No website. They are a local business. Father and son and a couple employees.

Wish I had seen this thread before.
I did a search and all I came up with was leatherseats.

The material, hog clips and hog pliers $560 to my door.

For how nice monks and dom came out I would have gone that way. Correct stitching, correct texture, ALL leather and not having to do it (I don’t want to ever see another hog ring!) is worth it.

I did look around local here in W Palm Beach. They were either out the door expensive or I thought they wouldn’t do the job right

$600 for mine. Had them reshaped. You sit deeper and the bolsters are slightly stiffer. They really hold you in.
