I deleted almost all of the rats nest and emissions.
but was going to run stock fuel pressure regulator for now. But many of the solenoids were already broken (mainly nipples broken off).
are each of the solenoids interchangeable with each other?
for the vacuum line, i thought i read that one of the ports on the Lower Intake Manifold (in the middle), connects to one port on the Solenoid. And the other nipple off the solenoid then connects to the Fuel Pressure regulator vacuum?
and the orange plug plugs into the solenoid, is the fuel pressure regulator reading?

There are two types of the solenoid valve on the rack, and you can use either, you just need to see which way the air flow when its off.
This one goes from A to B when its off, and the other one goes the other way
All true. I would spend a few minutes testing whatever solenoid you plan on using with FDAuto's video he linked, it's worth being certain it's good or you're gonna have a bad time.
Thanks everyone! Looks like these rack solenoids are a bit different in routing than the YouTube video.
Rather, it seems to be like the shop diagram post above.
here is the diagram of how it should flow/ be connected?
the ohm test checked out good. Connected ground and power like the manual above post stated and it flowed from A to Vent like it should.
Didn’t do the pressure test,
how it’s suppose to be routed?

with the solenoid powered the pressure regulator needs to see the filtered vent, and the intake side should get blocked, so the regulator sees atmosphere (instead of vacuum), and fuel pressure goes up a little. the intake side needs to get blocked or its a vacuum leak.
with the solenoid off air should just pass from the intake to the regulator, so it can regulate

im sorry I don’t follow. Can you elaborate on this pic?
also separate question- but for the idle speed controller. The 2 wires that go to that plug came off. Does it matter in which orientation it goes in or no?
Thank you
