Stock intercooler duct removal...

How do I get this thing out of the car? Tell me I'm overlooking something and I don't have to remove the fans/radiator
I need advice soon since I'm selling the part to a gentleman.
Thanks!

You have to remove the intercooler first. It should just slide out, but you have to come up a little because of the way it's shaped when you go to pull it out..

I have the intercooler out but whatever the black cylindrical thing that has two hard lines running in to the top of it is.........is in the way. The duct wraps around it. The hard lines won't let it slide out. Its to the right of the little opening for the stock battery box.

Oh yeah I forgot. I don't know if I'd recommend this but to get mine out I bent the cylinder up a little bit so it was almost all the way out. That cylander has something to do with the a/c..

That is the A/C reciever dryer. If you bend the lines be careful. If they break you will be hating life.

I recovered my refrigerant and then removed the heater dryer, removed the intercooler duct without any trouble, then reinstalled everything and charged the ac. If you have access to AC equipment, this is the easiest way to go, no risk of wrecking any ac lines

I just removed the bracket holding the AC reciever down and then pulled it up lsightly until I could remove the duct. After I got the duct out I cut the piece that went around the AC reciever off of the the duct. Then I sealed the hole back up. There was no way I was fighting with that thing ever again.
