WI Stock exhaust manifold differences?

I'm going to be looking to buy a good used manifold here in a the next few weeks due to some stud issues I have in mine. Question is, I see some of them have an additional port that leads from behind the secondary turbo "door". Is that port for the egr valve? I'm blocking off the egr valve, so I shouldn't need it if thats the case? Kyle
