Question Stock ECU Datalogging?

I have been browsing FAQs and picture threads and doing some searches, but haven't found the answer to this question:

Are there any available programs to datalog a stock FD ECU?

check out innovate motorsports. They make units with data logging. you'll have to get the signal from factory harness and feed the data to whatever you use to data log.

Mahjik - That looks very close to what I am looking for. I'm making an inquiry with TechnoSquare, but do you have any personal experience with it? I don't see any mention of refresh rate or whether it can log to a laptop.

Nope. Since there's no ability to make adjustments to the stock ECU, this alternative has never really been explored. People who want to log out to a laptop or such generally have a programmable ECU which supports that type of interface, and they are using the data to alter their ECU programming.

If you have some electrical and computer know-how you can build your own data logging system for a lot less $$. I used NI Labview and a usb DAQ card to pull data off the stock ecu harness and log it in the laptop. I just used NI equipment because I already had access to it, there are much more affordable options out there.
