They are the ******** for telling you that this car is too much for you. Nice. Don't bother listening to the guys who know the car, have had the car for years, have gone through the trials and tribulations associated with ownership, have made mistakes or any kind of experience. You know so much more, because you're a civic guy...

Just to put it in prospective, on my $40k/year salary, FD upkeep is hard. So keep it in mind that while most of us are ********, we are this way for a reason.

Don't worry, when I was 18, coming on this forum I was really pissed about people who were short with kids that didn't understand. Believe me, if the sound of the turbos/BOV is your biggest question when looking at a car, don't get a turbo rotary. FD or FC, you'll destroy either one. Do the RX-7 world and yourself a favor, research for a couple more years, save for a couple more years, establish a career, buy a house, then get an RX-7 if you still want one. That's what I did(minus the house thing, but I would have had I listened to a few very enlightened people that I chose to ignore at the time).
