stock: are both turbos the same size? (and other q's)

in all my years of owning an FD (that I no longer own), I never really new the answers to that question... are both turbos the same size?

If so, are they both small to the point that they would run out of their effeciency range above X rpm, but two of them at once above that range would flow enough?

If that's the case, is the advantage of running just one in the low rpm range due to the size of the "tube" through which they flow - that increases when the second turbo comes online?

justtrying to make sense of it. thanks.

the difference between the primary/secondary is the compressor housing, the turbines/impellers are the same

you could run two secondary compressor housings in a non sequential mode, but you wouldn't have anywhere to mount the wastegate w/out modifications

The turbos are the same size .The center sections , wheels and shafts are the same .The compressor houseings are the same size but the primary hae a bracket caston it . the exhast houseings are the same size but the manifold ends are diffrerent shape .Question 2 is as ask they together push enouth air .One spooling up is faster than both spooling together, so you had boost at lower rpm .

good grief - I can't believe I used "new" instead of "knew" hehe...

Thanks for the answers, guys. My curiosity has been appeased.
