On stock air box what is this hose for?

If your standing in front of the stock airbox.It's the top right hose.It's a skinny hose,it has that black sheath on it also.Well the connection to the box broke,but it's still in the airbox.When you pull on the throttle,it feels like it's blowing air out of the crack,and making a mooing sound.Does this hose just vent or am i sucking in unfiltered air?

I think your talking about the ACV relief hose. It goes to the air box to muffle the ACV "mooing" sound. I don't know if it sucks in any air when it's not relieving pressure.

ACV = Air Control Valve

I think you're talking about the baffle for the smog pump. That hose just goes under the airbox and vents, doesn't connect to anything.

No, i don't thing he was talking about that, He said top right corner, thats on the right, but the bottom.

Jonski,
Is there any way to muffle the mooing sound more with a non-stock intake? I have the Apex'i intake, and I get the mooing sound pretty bad.

YOu have to use the restrictor pill that goes in the line. it should have come withyour apex intake. if it's in, it signifacantly reduces the mooing, but without it's very noticeable.
