Stock Air box....HELP! *Pics*

Hello,

I am having an issue that seems as if when the second turbo is supposed to come online, I am not getting full boost.

So I am taking things apart to see if I have a vac/boost leak. I have 2 questions.

The first one is this as you can see on the side of the airbox there is a hole.

This conects to this on the side, but as you can see down below, it is just an open hose. Am I missing a piece? And if so where the hell does this go?

When under throttle it pushes air out, which I think may be causint my problem.

This is also the hose that looks like it hooks up to the back of the rear rotor.

HELP?

IIRC, that is correct as is, the hose off of that side connections of the airbox does not connect to anything.

It's just a muffler so you don't get the MOO noise from the ACV or airpump or whatever (IIRC).

The airbox has nothing to do with a boost leak. The hose that attaches vents to atmosphere ......... doesn't connect to anything. Again, where is your blow off valve?

While I'm also a little curious about the BOV, I doubt it has anything to do with the lack of boost from the secondary.

I have an aftermarket blitz BOV.

I am worried that there is something wrong with the actuator that lets the 2nd turbo's air flow is closed

do you only have one BOV? IIRC the stock setup has 2 BOVs. did you cap off one of the vents?

where did you put the aftermarket BOV? From the picture you posted, it looks like you have all stock plastic pipes...

When you added the new BOV, did you get the nipples for the stock BOVs welded shut or at least capped off?

if you are having problems with the secondary turbo comming online, it could be the restricor pill in the vac hose connected to your primary turbo. it could be split

my best guess...

I didnt put it anywhere, I got it how it currently is. I will snap a couple more pics and post them up tommorow.

Its A weird setup and I have no idea what has been done....so that kinda sucks for starting points + troubleshooting.

Which restrictor pill + which vac hose? haha there are soo many!

Check your 1 way valves first.. make sure they are in correctly and working in one direction.

Then check your lines.. one of your vac line might be bad or has a leak.
