Stock ABV Broken?
Stock ABV Broken?
CAI mod done...
Today I start my car and I pop the hood to check things out. Going around to the front I hear a loud hissing sound. The car revs up to 3k for startup and I can feel my abv's air hitting me in the face. It was letting so much air out. Does this mean its broke? I took the vacuum line off and it closed, but as soon as I put it on a little bit all that air came rushing back out. Could this have something to do with having no boost in any gear? Well I get around 3psi but I figure that to a clogged pre-cat. Working correctly... or should I replace it with an aftermarket bov?

stock BOVs (blow off valves, i assume that is what you are referring to) seldom go bad. Actually, the front one is a BOV and the rear is a CRV (charge relief valve) in stock sequential mode.
What exactly did you do to your car? Something aint right. I'd guess your cat is not clogged, and you have a vacuum hose problem causing your BOV to function incorrectly. worst case, swap them out with a buddy's.......
