Angry Still maintaining a high idle

Well, as the title says im still idling rather high. Went through to see if anything popped loose and visually all checks out. I went and checked what my vac was and it's sitting around -15 to -17 at idle.

This is buggin' the crap outta me. I adjusted the front idle control screw on the throttle body, now i'll go adjust the other one again that's near the elbow to see if that fixes it. But as of right now i'm at a loss as to what's causing me to idle at 2k.

I have a PFC as well.

I've read your other thread that you started. Have you checked your TPS yet?

Just a thought.

The TPS would not make it idle at 2k. Try disconnecting the the idle air adjust controller on the back of the upper intake manifold. It is beneath the double throttle. If it is stuck open it will cause the idle to be very high. This is the mechanism that actually increases the idle when you turn the a/c on or the fans kick on.

If you have been messin with the AWS when it was cold, this could change (not fully disengage) as the weather gets warmer. Or vice versa.. Just a thought... Make sure that adjustement is correct in the back of the throttle body.
