I think you're referring to the R Bathurst X - which was a bargain luxury/sports hybrid (the only luxury item was the red leather seats - which I alluded to earlier). They were priced at 3.35. The comparable touring x of that age was 3.81.

You'll find sites like goo and car sensor are quite unreliable (they don't even list all the models). Pick up a specialist magazine from your local bookshop - there are lots of one-off specials, such as "I love my rx-7" - great book, written by enthusiasts and backed up with extensive info direct from mazda.

They are - but you don't need to read Japanese to get value from them - they are full of spec sheets, pics and lists that are easy to read with basic Japanese skills.
