Steering colum pod

does anyone know howto install rx7store's (http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?0=212&1=267&3=212) center gauge pod? there are no stock tabs/clips, so i guess i haveto fabricate some way to do it. also, does anyone know whereto have a power source for the gauge in the steering colum?
thanks
russell

To attach it, I cut the tabs and just used some black RTV. I haven't tried to remove it again, so hopefully it won't be a pain.

As for the power source, just run your power down to the fuse box on the floor.

I did as Mahjik did, but added two very small sheet metal screws. The screws were just some I had that were about 3/8 inch long and black in color. I used one per side installed in pre-drilled pilot holes that I drilled after RTV had set.

Some months later when I had to take the pod off while working on the dash, the RTV easily pealed apart. But the screws work great and I've never needed to re-applied any more RTV.

looks like you can use some 3m double sided tape.

Check one of the info websites (Robinette's or Scuderia's, they should be in one of the sticky threads at the top). They have everything you need to know.

p.s. - go through the steering column w/ a hanger.
