Question stationary gear bearing removel ???

Just wondering if any body has any tricks for removing the screw holding the bearing in....I have had no luck and have almost striped it out...any help would be great. thanks

I struggled to remove mine..the problem is the screw has thread lock on it,,,
put the screw driver on the screw and whack it with a hammer , the shock will help to brake the thread lock. (if this doesnt work you could try heating it up with a gas torch).. once the thread lock is loose the screw comes straight out,,,id replace it with a new screw from mazda.

Heat the screw up with a torch and use an impact screwdriver. If you just use a regular screwdriver, you're wasting your time.
