Startup issues

I have a newly rebuilt engine, single turbo with PFC. On startup the engine idles around 3000 with a knocking/rattling. Swapped Trailing plug wires (it’s a long story), could not tell any difference, put them back. For the minute or two the engine has actually run it seems pretty smooth, just has this loud noise. Pulled the fuel relay and igniter connector, cranked engine with starter, no unusual noises. This kind of leads me to think its PFC (ignition) or turbo. The PFC has the base map and turbo came from a trusted source. The PFC reads RPM’s but the instrument cluster tach does not, probably unplugged, and the IngT Ld & Tr both read 32, Knock shows |. Any ideas? And yes I’ve searched.
