Thumbs up Started up the car today..

It has been a long while since the car has ran.

I have the new turbo on it, but still need some more work done (coolant lines, new oil drain line, etc). I have been having a problem with cold cranking, and today finally found out that my water temp sensor was stuck reading at +53c. Yet, it is really -1c outside. Hence the lack of fuel / start.

Fixed that problem, and on first crank it came to life. Now I remember why I love my car so much. Nothing like the sounds of my car in the garage.

It ran, but took multiple cranks to get it started. I had to spend 5 minutes cranking / padding the gas. When it was warm outside, it worked fine because the tempatures were simular.

I can take some video this weekend. Something like it revving up. But, it is VERY dirty.

I plan to have the car painted in March; with new body parts put on.

Many compliments to you on the nice car. I just clicked on the pics and the dyno and you've done a great job. The car is clean and the engine is emmaculate. I'll have to take you up some time on your offer of tips to increase the HP of my 20B.

While the car is loud, it actually sounds good. It sounds like an F1 car or something. No bumble-bees, just a deep roar of energy.

I build the car for more road racing style than drag. It is a weekend warrior, and I will take it out on nice weekends for various stuff, but ultimately the setup is for a road-racer mentality vs. 1/4 mile racer. This is why I spent some good money making sure the factory steering never was changed (no bumpsteer).

Awesome that shes back up and running! Did you put in the Guru tranny as well, or still waiting for parts?

You better be at the revolution, and hopefully the caravan wont see monsoon-type rains again

I planned on attending, but it looks like I may not be able too. My work project implements the same weekend. We will see though.

I went from a T72 "Q" trim, 1.30 AR dual ball bearing to a T76 "Q" trim, 1.30 AR dual ballbearing.

Marcos Acosta & son will fly down in March or so to dial it back in.

It shouldn't be a problem. All in boost and foot controll.

It should still have a some-what flat curve to it ("Q" trim), and the smaller 1.30 AR.

You're right. It's all in the driver. I just don't know many road racers putting down 700 to the ground in a 2600lb car

You've got those enormous ********* though, which explains alot!@

Here is a quick vid I created today. My camra sucks, and I don't sounds retarded in real life (like the video makes it out to be). On my to-do list is to get a new (nice!) camra that can record worthwhile.
