The start of a bad week!

I was off from work and was driving to a friends house to check out a computer we found on Craigslist. I was on 19th ave (to all you San Franciscans out there) and just on the middle of the road I hear this loud "BOOM"!!! The car was tilting as I was just hanging on to the steering wheel...I was literally seeing me world tilt to the left and almost crapped my pants. I thought I had popped a tire (gosh how I wish it was just a tire). Clicked my hazards, stepped out and looked around all four corners...and to my surprise no flat. Then a BIG *** light bulb clicked on my mind and I took a peek under the engine bay and there I see it...an A arm...hanging out...

The streets are pretty pathetic. Urgh...I don't think I've ever heard of a 7 with this particular problem as well.

@ aicrotary2
Yea I was B*&ing for a few minutes and then gathered up all my thoughts and realized in spite of this seemingly terrible moment I was lucky.

it's ok here, just a bit hot and getting used to it. the shop is on the west side of the strip about a 1/2 mile away just south of the orleans casino. just let me know when you plan on coming out and i'll make sure i'm around.

Could have been much worse. Was there any clunking, noise, etc coming from that side prior to indicate the ball joint was on its way out? I have some extra arms if you need them as well.
