Star SPEC Clutches from BNR Supercars?

Anyone know much about these clutches? I am in need of a clutch and was thinking about giving them a try unless somone has heard bad things about them. I was looking at the stage 1 or maybe stage 2 because I am still on stock twins at the moment and want street drivability, so no 6, 4, or even 3 pucks for me. Anyone had anything experiance with them or heard anything good or bad? Or I could just get a ACT which I am also thinking of doing.

I have their clutch in my Mustang and have had it there for about 1 1/2 yrs. It works perfectly and it lasts! I abuse the **** out of my car and it keeps coming back for more. The pedal pressure is like stock (my girl daily drives it and loves it) but when you need the power it is there. I also have them in my Rx7 and my girls....same thing....pedal pressure is like stock. I have the 4 puck full kevlar disc....i forget the stage but i can check.

Let me know if you need anymore info.....i'm also a dealer for them. That's not why i'm raving about them....just to make that clear. I went through 2 clutches in the Mustang on the bottle before......thing of the past. I've got a brand new RPS that came out of the 7.....good pedal pressure but can't hold very much abuse. Like i said....shoot me a line if you need any other info.

thanks,
Elliott

Found my sheet.....Stage 4 with unsprung hub for my RX7.....Stage 3 same for my girls......Stage 4 w/unsprung hub for the Mustang. The only problem with the clutch in the Mustang is some chatter if you try to feather it out. I would say go with the Stage 2.....or 3 if you plan on really pushing it.

I'm running the Star clutch that BRN sells and really like it. It clamps real good but like said earlier the petal feel is still nice. I drive daily and race on the weekends with no complaints. I've been very happy with it.

Good Luck,
STEPHEN

vosko, hows that 6 puck do in the rain? Does it give you the "breaking your neck/whiplash" feeling everytime you leave from a light?
