standalone stuff
OK dudes,
two choices
Power FC or MicroTech LT8 or LTX8, ok i guess it's three.
I'm running non-seq. on stock twins/ IC/ dp/ mp/ cb/ intake/ and maybe HKS twin power. I want something that can tune every part of the engine. I don't want to run into any limitations. Looking around 350~400hp and keeping it there. Road course racing.
thanks!
I'm not getting any feed backs at ECU part of the forum and plus it seems like alot of the guys that uses Microtech run FC not FD. And FD guys run Power FCs, why? If you guys started over again, would you pic the microtech or Power FC and why?
Thanks again.

The PFC+datalogit can control/tune any aspect of the engine you would be interested in. The PFC has quite a bit more tuning resolution than the Microtech, from what I understand -- the PFC has a 20x20 matrix while the Microtech has a smaller matrix (not sure on cell count).
With the PFC, you don't have to rewire all the engine sensors or lose use of the OMP either. Just plug it in and tune. Also, the PFC has a keypad (the Commander) which enables you to monitor the engine sensors and tune without a laptop in the car. Don't underestimate the usefulness of that.

Man, i just got my face punched by RETed, real BITCH!
Do you know anything about the "Pro" chip on the older Power FC? If so, what are the benefits of it?
Thanks

BTW, you should try to respect RETed, he seems to know a hell of a lot and is usually helpful.
