I hate to say this but, how old are you?
1. How did you get 16 psi without a boost controller?
2. Assuming you did it with a boost controller, why would you do that without considering the consequences?
3. Do you have any concept of how the clutch works? Because if you do, than you wouldn't be asking this question.
These are the reasons why I ask, how long have you beeng driving. The only logical recommendation for you is 1. learn the car first, 2. learn to drive (very well) then you'll be able to answer your own question.
I'm sorry but you really sound like a newb who is taking mod suggestions from 16 year olds who worships the Fast and Furious movies.

im 18 (it says on my profile)
1. I have ,no idea the car came that say when I bought it and then when i installed my turbo timer it said I has pushing 16
2.back to question one I didn't do it!
3.0 yeah when your foot is off the pedal, the springs push the pressure plate against the clutch disc, which in turn presses against the flywheel. This locks the engine to the transmission input shaft, causing them to spin at the same speed. The friction force in the clutch works just like the blocks, except that the spring presses on the clutch plate instead of weight pressing the block into the ground. (Hows that for you)
3.1 since i was 15
3.2 I saw the Fast and the Furious movies and I thought the first one was ok but the secound one was way too unrealisic I mean illeagal street races are aern't block parties!

wow..........I'm just flabergasted that someone like this got a hold of an FD. What did you own before, a civic?!
And BTW buddy, F&F 1 AND 2 is just plain GAY!
See, you better be careful when posting stuff like this on here, cause your gonna get flamed no matter what. Everyone on here can be an @$$hole sometimes no matter what we all say. I'm sorry but you ARE kind of doing it to yourself by saying some of the stuff your saying on here.

Wow, that was a rough reception.
Give him a break, he's asking. I'd rather we recieve and educate to save an FD(ref "how many are left" thread) rather than tell him he's an idiot and watch him blow the engine(btw that would mean $3K to rebuild it austin, you don't want that).
Suggestions/Questions:
How are you running 16psi with JUST an intake(the BOV won't affect psi)?
Make sure the info from the turbo timer is right?
A boost gauge would remove all doubt.
Check to see if you really have a stock ECU still?
Go READ READ READ(stickies at top of forums)
Ask whoever you bought it from about the psi.
"lightly modded" just means something different on an rx7 than most cars... the wrong "light" mods will send the engine to the graveyard. The only protection is knowledge. READ these forums.

Something tells me he isn't running 16 psi.
Austin, get a boost and water temp gauge before you buy a new clutch (unless your clutch absolutely needs replacement).

I'll try to be a little nicer since it is the holiday season.
The question is not "Is stage 4 clutch too heavy for my lightly moded car" but............
"I am using my car for _____________ (daily driver, drag, track etc.), what type of clutch would fit my application?"
I hope you can see the difference in the question and why I and others are ranting on you. This question falls into the category of "Who makes the loudest BOV?" or "Can I put 20s on the FD?"

Yeah, let's not criticize, but help here. The search function is the most valuable tool you are going to find. It is hard to believe you are running 16 psi, it's freaking cold here in MI and I'm only seeing spikes up to 15 psi with intakes in the single digits and I've got a pfc, dp, mp, cb.
Actually, count your lucky stars that you probably haven't actually boosted that high.
I have a 4-puck unsprung clutch with the extreme pressure plate from ACT. While you can learn to shift in city traffic with clutches this strong, it isn't easy. You could probably go with a cheaper street/strip clutch if your car is that close to stock.
Also, head over to the Midwest forum on the site here and talk to some of your local members. Your area has a pretty good showing and many of them would be more than glad to share some knowledge and they have a meet coming up later this month.
Remember, we were all new once.

Austin, centerforce doesn't have a very good name in the FD world. ACT is a more popular choice for FD owners. The Street/Strip version is usually what people get (like me). It's the best of both worlds, holds power and isn't a pain to deal with in traffic.
If you are just replacing the clutch and not the flywheel, make sure to have your flywheel inspected to see if it needs to be resurfaced or not.
