Whenever I start up my FD it turns over fine, does the normal 3k rev at cold start and then drops down to just below 1k. However if I rev the engine up to 3k or somewhere around there when I let off a get a squeal/whine from the engine area at 2k. It does it too when I'm driving and hover the rpms around 2k. However after about 5-10 minutes of warming up the noise seems to stop. Any ideas what it could be?

My thoughts exactly... My P/S/A/C-belt does that.

 

get some belt dressing, i suggest you get the kind you squeese out of a tube the spray on stuff is not as sticky.
